Senior Adults
The Senior Adults at First Baptist Church Garland are faithful, energetic, and involved in the life and ministry of the church. Each and every Sunday, they gather for Sunday School and share in a time of fellowship, ministry and Bible study. Our Senior Adults continue to be focused and compassionate about reaching people for Jesus Christ and glorifying God through their daily living.
One of our great challenges is "finishing strong" in the race of life. This is the character and desire of the folks at First Baptist. This is a great time in life to continue to invest in people and God's Kingdom, and we provide many ways to give our Senior Adults the opportunities to do just that. Along with meeting each week on Sundays and Wednesdays, our Senior Adults
- Gather monthly for Pacesetter Luncheons (complete with entertainment and great speakers),
- Take day trips together (Arboretum, Meyerson Symphony Center, Rangers games, Dallas Summer Musicals, and more!).
- Many of our folks sing in our mature adult choir, Praise Singers.
We find as many opportunities as we can to be together!
The best way to get connected is on Sundays. We invite you to join us in Sunday Bible study. We have a Bible class just for you. Please stop by our Welcome Center; our volunteers will help find a class that is perfect for you.
